Vladimir Grushin, a native of Moscow, Russia, obtained his PhD degree from the Moscow State University. After several years at the Institute of Organo-Element Compounds of the Russian Academy of Sciences and then the University of Ottawa, he joined the faculty at Wilfrid Laurier University, Ontario, Canada. In 1997-2009, he was a Principal Investigator with DuPont CR&D in Wilmington, Delaware, USA. In 2010, he moved to Spain with an appointment as tenured Senior Group Leader at the Institute of Chemical Research of Catalonia (ICIQ). After his resignation from ICIQ in 2015, he returned to the USA where he has been an independent scholar and CTO of K&G Technologies.
