Hideki Amii

Hideki Amii

Hideki Amii was born in Hyogo, Japan in 1968. He graduated from Kyoto University, where he received his Doctorate degree in 1996 under the direction of Professor Yoshihiko Ito. During 1996-2003, he worked as Research Associate of the Prof. Kenji Uneyama’s group in Okayama University. From December 2000, he carried out postdoctoral work in France with Dr. Guy Bertrand at Université Paul Sabatier for one year. In 2003, he was appointed as Associate Professor of Kobe University. In 2010, he promoted to Full Professor of Gunma University. He was the recipient of the Chemical Society of Japan Award for Young Chemists (2002). His research interest is currently in the synthesis, reactions, and application of organofluorine compounds by the use of metal reagents.
